Walt Disney
In 1937 Walt Disney Productions released Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the first full length animated feature film. It has since been regarded as a landmark achievement in film. The American Film Institute’s 2008 list of the 100 greatest American films listed the film as the greatest American animated film of all time. The film was praised for its realism in its rendering and its movement. Though Walt Disney went on to numerous films, both animated and live action, he always regarded Snow White as his greatest artistic achievement.
