Neil Waldman

In addition to Neil Waldman‘s work as a painter of fine art landscapes, he is also well known as a children’s book illustrator. He has illustrated over forty children’s books and over one hundred book jackets, including seven Newberry winners. He recently both wrote and illustrated Wounded Knee, The Starry Night, Masada, The Golden City, and Too Young for Yiddish, a collaboration with gallery owner Richard Michelson. Waldman is also the founder and director of The Fred Dolan Art Academy.
