Mo Willems: Gravity + Other Thoughts

January 18 – February 28, 2022.

“2021 was an odd year, numerically and culturally. As they have for the past few years, making abstraction has been a solace.  Color, shape, and form can change, but their fundamentals are reassuringly eternal.

Showing the Gravity works to a friend, I was told, ‘You’re trying to keep a lot of balls in the air.’  Aren’t we all?”

– Mo Willems

All of Mo’s proceeds from this exhibit will be donated to The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts to support their efforts to ensure that all our neighbors have access to healthy food.

Further abstractions based on Beethoven’s 9 Symphonies are on view at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
