Mo Willems: 20 Years of Pigeon!

R. Michelson Galleries is pleased to present Mo Willems: 20 Years of Pigeon in conjunction with our 7thAnnual Benefit Exhibition running from April 1st-30th. Since our first introduction to Pigeon in 2003’s Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, Mo has delighted us with a bevy of unforgettable characters; from Gerald and Piggie, to Leonardo the Terrible Monster, Nanette with her Baguette and an unlimited number of squirrels (to name a few)! Mo has also made a splash with his non-illustration related art. Works from his Opposites Abstract are currently touring museums all across the country.

We are honored to celebrate the last two decades of Mo’s fruitful career by displaying a selection of his book work, doodles and sculpture. Mo’s proceeds from this year’s show will benefit the Empty Arms Bereavement Support through the Mo and Cher Willems Foundation.
