From the Vault: Jim Wallace
Jim Wallace was born in 1945 in New York. Driven by his passion in nature, he received his BS in Environmental Biology from Niagara University in 1967, and went on to pursue graduate work in education and environmental biology. His education led him to teaching Environmental Science courses, and capturing the landscape through photography on his journeys. His background in science shows through in his photographic work: his understanding of chemistry aided with his film development process and Dye Transfer methods, this formal knowledge accompanies his deep passion for the environment, which is evident in his photographs.
