This piece is an homage to my art hero Johannes Vermeer and his painting, one of my favorites, Girl with a Red Hat. The Cat in the Hat is delightful and beckoning in a similar way to the subject of Vermeer’s painting. The title alone suggested a nice fit for our feline hero!
