In recent years, my passions as a vaguely creative person have looped off into increasingly odd realms. I confess that what really fires me these days is… well… toy trains. In a discussion of what I might contribute to this show, a friend suggested slipping our famous feline friend into one of my train landscapes. That sounded like fun! So using oils, I painted a sky onto sheetrock, carved landscape forms from insulation panels, and made foliage from ground foam rubber. And how did Mr. Cat materialize? Photoshop!
