Aaron Becker

Aaron Becker was born in Baltimore, Maryland and currently resides in Amherst, Massachusetts. Becker received a 2014 Caldecott Honor for his wordless book, Journey: the first book in a wordless trilogy followed by Quest and Return. The series was inspired by his own travel and adventures throughout Japan, Eastern Africa, Europe, and across the United States. Prior to his career as an author/illustrator for children’s books, Becker contributed to animation scenes in movies such as The Polar Express, Cars, Monster House, and A Christmas Carol.
