Richard Michelson started R. Michelson Galleries in 1976 after three years selling fine art reproductions out of the back of his van. He moved the gallery to western MA in 1979. Mr. Michelson is also a poet and children’s books author. He served as Poet Laureate of Northampton MA from 2011-2015. When not in his writing study or at the gallery, he can generally be found on the 10-mile bicycle trail between the two.

Meghan Zaremba has a BA in Fine & Performing Arts from MCLA, and a certificate in illustration at the SMFA. Meghan is currently a member of SCBWI, freelance illustrator, and crafts coordinator at Paradise City Arts Festival. She loves to camp, hike with her dog, and laze about with her cats.

Senior Art Director

Elizabeth Finney has been with the gallery since 1997. She is a professional artist, interior designer and a proud member of the Western Mass Illustrators Guild, WMIG.

Gallery Registrar

Haley Kean holds an MFA in printmaking from Ohio University. Accompanying Haley’s expertise and knowledge in printed ephemera, is a background in the cataloging, curating, and documentation of artworks.
