Susan Pecora
Susan Tilton Pecora was raised in Marblehead, MA. In this seashore community, she grew to appreciate the quality of light and the intrinsic beauty of New England. After furthering her studies in Boston, she moved to Western Massachusetts in 1974 and studied painting with Jack Flynn, A.W.S. She taught Advanced Watercolor Painting at Bay Path College for 10 years and currently teaches painting at the Museum of Fine Arts in Springfield. She has given painting demonstrations to art associations throughout the United States and Europe and was also the official calendar artist for Willie Nelson’s Farm Aid. Susan Pecora’s WBGY produced public television show, Reflections through Watercolor, is being broadcast nationally since 2003.
