The Love for Three Oranges (L’Amour des Trois Oranges) is a satirical opera composed by Sergei Prokofiev in 1919. The 1982 Glyndebourne Production four-act satirical libretto was directed by Frank Corsaro with set designs by Maurice Sendak. The opera was a designed as a play within a play. The live audience watches the on-stage crowd watch the cast and members of the Theatre Tiepolo preform The Love for Three Oranges.
