Leonard Baskin: Laus Pictorum Colophon

The edition of Laus Pictorum is arranged as follows: one hundred copies have a double set of the portraits, both sets matted, numbered I to C: seventy-five copies have in addition to a matted set an extra suite of the portraits and are numbered CI to CLXXV: one hundred & seventy-five copies have a single set of matted portraits and are numbered I to 175. A group of artist’s sets are lettered A to ZZ. All the prints are signed. Harold McGrath was the pressman. The paper has been specially made by the Strathmore Paper Company & is pure. The chemises &cases have been made by Arno Werner of Pittsfield, Mass. The work finished, fall 1969.
