Rebecca Guay began her art career in 1992, after graduating from the Pratt Institute in New York City with a degree in illustration. She is best known for her painted graphic novels and DC comics, and her illustrations for the very popular game Magic: The Gathering.

Rebecca also created book covers for young adult novels, illustrating theworks of such writers as Bruce Coville and Ursula LeGuin. Goddesses: A World of Myth and Magic, marks her debut as an illustrator for Barefoot Books.

Original illustration from her most recent effort, Beauty and the Beast, a three dimensional pop-up book, are on display at our Northampton Gallery. A selection from that book can be seen below.
