| Brooke
Dyer grew up in an old house filled with books, artwork, paper, paints and
colored pencils which lead her to the School of the Museum of Fine Arts
in Boston, where she earned a joint B.F.A. from Tufts University. She is
the illustrator of Lullaby Moon and a Silver Spoon: A Book of Bedtime Songs
and Rhymes, which was praised by Booklist for being “both sweet and
sassy” as well as Mama Always Comes Home by Karma Wilson cited by
School Library Journal as “A gentle and reassuring picture book [with]
consistently tender illustrations…Presented with a delicate and loving
touch.” Brooke Dyer lives with her husband, Ayr Muir-Harmony, and her dog, Sophie Petunia, in Cambridge Massachusetts where she is completing the artwork for her next book, Sleep, Black Bear, Sleep by Jane Yolen and Heidi E.Y. Stemple to be published by HarperCollins Children’s Books.
